I can't believe MLAB is coming up to it's third birthdays, what a whirlwind it's been so far. It's safe to say there have been many ups and downs, times I've wanted to give up and not draw again. And times I've thought there is nothing else in the world I'd rather do.
Lately it's been tough, and I have spent a lot of time doubting myself and what I'm doing. I've giving it some serious thought, and for a week or so I felt that closing MLAB was the only choice. But I've taken some time to think about it, and I can't imagine my life without MLAB in it. At times it's felt like MLAB is the only thing I've been holding onto, so when it came down to it I couldn't let it go.
With this in mind, I've been reflecting on the past three years, and so far I've managed to send orders to 20 countries around the world.
Including: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, Wales.
Seeing a map like this is somewhat overwhelming, I can't believe that people on the other side of the world have been moved enough by what I do, to pay me to draw their pets. It's an indescribable feeling that I haven't felt in any other job I've had. I'd be a fool to let it go.
